The task was to take portraits made over a four year period for CORE Real Estate and update with a fresh background to match a brand redesign. In 2013 I had recommended that the portraits all be done in studio/office settings with the background added in post. This made the redesign a simple process and avoided the necessity of having to reshoot hundreds of staff members.
For the majority of the headshot work I do, I recommend this method because it produces consistent repeatable results at low cost. Location shooting has it's place, but in the Northeast, with unpredictable weather, this gets the job done year round.
